O.M.S.
Some know me as O.M.S., while most will recognize me as Kelvin Nielandt. Whichever name you choose, I'm the creative mind behind O.M.S. Art and Creations, proudly based in Belgium. My creative journey is shaped by a deep passion for crafting and building.
From a young age, the urge to create and construct has fueled my endeavors, aiming to bring to life things that captivate the imagination and evoke a sense of wonder. My earliest memories of crafting trace back to moments spent with my grandparents and my aunt, where I had the privilege of exploring my creative instincts.
The Turning Point (2017)
In 2017, my creative journey took a significant turn when I stumbled upon a video that introduced me to the mesmerizing world of fractal burning. Inspired by this newfound technique, I embarked on the creation of my first fractal burning machine. Little did I know that this would be just the beginning of an incredible artistic exploration.
Through fractal burning, I was introduced to the fascinating realm of epoxy resin and all the different sorts of pigments that accompany it. This newfound medium opened up a world of possibilities, allowing me to bring my visions to life in ways I had never imagined. From intricate epoxy pour paintings to captivating epoxy tables, unique lamps, creatively upcycled chairs, and more, I've explored the artistic potential of epoxy with unwavering enthusiasm and continue to do so.
Sustainability and Upcycling
But my creative journey doesn't stop there. Even before the world of fractal burning and epoxy resin, I had a passion for upcycling and breathing new life into discarded materials. I strive to incorporate reused materials into as many of my projects as possible, meaning that my creations are sometimes shaped by the materials I have available at that moment. In doing so, I transform the old into something refreshingly new.

Today, I stand at the intersection of craftsmanship, innovation, and artistic expression. My portfolio is a testament to the countless hours, passion, and dedication I've poured into my work; each creation is a labor of love and a piece of my soul. However, my journey doesn't end here. I thrive on challenges and the thrill of exploration. I'm always eager to push the boundaries of my creativity, experimenting with new techniques, materials, and ideas.
