Explore the whimsical world of my Crazy Flowerpot designs. Handcrafted from a medium-structured chamotte-infused modeling clay, these pots come to life through a unique slab method rather than traditional turning. The creative journey involves meticulously building up the pot and sculpting its design, resulting in whimsical and truly one-of-a-kind pieces.

Diverging from the traditional path of baked pottery, these pots undergo a natural air-drying process that spans approximately 14 days to a month once the design reaches completion. Following this, the refinement of the design takes place through a delicate sanding process to accentuate its unique features. Recognizing the porous and delicate nature of air-dried clay, the pot undergoes a series of treatments with impregnating agents both on the interior and exterior.

To guarantee longevity and waterproofing, the pot is coated with an acrylic primer before being adorned with the selected color palette. A protective layer of varnish is meticulously applied to the exterior, while the interior receives an additional finishing layer with an impregnating agent, rendering it entirely waterproof.
